Getting Started
Everything you need to set up your workspace, understand OKRs, and start driving results with Leemu.
What is Leemu OKR?
Leemu is a modern OKR (Objectives and Key Results) platform that helps teams set ambitious goals, measure progress with quantifiable key results, and stay aligned from company-level strategy down to individual contributors.
Whether you are a startup defining your first quarterly goals or an established organization rolling out OKRs across dozens of teams, Leemu gives you the structure, visibility, and AI assistance you need to succeed.
Key Concepts
Before diving in, here are the core building blocks of the Leemu platform:
Objectives
Qualitative, inspiring goals that describe what you want to achieve. They should be ambitious and time-bound.
Key Results
Measurable outcomes that track progress toward an objective. Each objective typically has 2-5 key results.
Check-ins
Regular progress updates on key results. Check-ins keep the team informed and surface blockers early.
Strategic Goals
High-level company priorities that OKRs align to. They provide context and direction for all teams.
OKR Hierarchy
Leemu supports a three-level hierarchy to ensure alignment across your organization:
Team objectives can be aligned to company objectives, and personal objectives can be aligned to team objectives. This creates a clear line of sight from individual work to company strategy.
Key Result Types
Each key result has a measurement type and a direction. Leemu supports four types:
Number
e.g. 50 new leads
Percentage
e.g. 95% uptime
Currency
e.g. $100K ARR
Boolean
e.g. Launch v2
Each key result also has a direction:
- Increase — the value should go up (e.g. revenue from $0 to $100K).
- Decrease — the value should go down (e.g. churn rate from 5% to 2%).
- Maintain — the value should stay at or above a threshold (e.g. keep uptime at 99.9%).
User Roles
Leemu has three roles with escalating permissions. Every user belongs to at least one team and has a single workspace role.

Create personal objectives, check in on own key results, and view team/company OKRs.
Team Admin

Best Practices
Start small
Begin with 1-3 objectives per person. You can always add more as your team builds the OKR habit.
Align vertically
Link personal OKRs to team OKRs, and team OKRs to company OKRs. Alignment creates focus.
Check in regularly
Weekly check-ins keep OKRs alive. Even a short update is better than no update.
Write measurable key results
Every key result should have a number. If you cannot measure it, rethink the key result.
Review and learn
At the end of each cycle, score your OKRs and discuss what you learned. Continuous improvement is the goal.
